Challenge Three- Create

Your third challenge is to create.  Using one of the web 2.0 sites/tools below, or one of your own choosing, make a product (Required!) that you can use in your classroom.
  • Google Maps- create a custom map and share it. 
  • Google Docs- create drawings, presentations, and more and share with the world or a select few.
  • Prezi- a web-based presentation that uses a webbed canvas instead of slides, like PowerPoint. The canvas is ever growing as text, images, videos and other presentation objects are placed on it. The presentation can be downloaded or shared via embedding or links.
  • Little Bird Tales- a simple online tool that using text, sound, and images to create an online book.  
  • Mixbook- create a dynamic virtual book with turning pages. Upload images your own images or reference them from the Web.  You can also embed your finalized Mixbook into a web page.
  • Animoto- make a thirty-second slideshow with photos and music simply.  
  • Voki- create an avatar and have him/her mouth the words you write or speak.  
  • Xtranormal- you type something, it turns it into a movie.  
  • AudioPal- web-based audio recorder that allows you to embed your recordings into any page. 
  • Go Animate- Create animated videos and share online.

Lastly, write a blog post showcasing your creation (Required!).
    • Required!- title this post Challenge Three- Web 2.0 Creation or something similar.
    • Required!- label this post Technology Challenge (the same label you created in Challenge One) or something similar in order to help your readers find posts dedicated to completing one of the challenges in your blog.
    • Required!- insert a hyperlink to or, better yet, embed your creation in the post. 
    • Required!- write about your experience and if you would recommend the tool that you chose for teacher and/or student use.
